Nutritional Therapists

Rachael DowlerRachael Dowler

With a BA (Hons) in Graphic Design and a successful career in media and publishing Rachel’s interest in nutrition began about 10 years ago. After suffering herself with ongoing symptoms that never seemed to get resolved, she booked to see a nutritional therapist. After changing her diet and taking recommended supplements she was amazed to see how quickly her symptoms improved. Having experienced how powerful nutrition can be, Rachel developed a keen interest in health and diet which continued through different life stages until she decided to study nutrition. She gained her first qualification, a Diploma in Dietary therapy at Raworth College, followed by a Diploma in Nutritional Therapy from the Paragon College in Leatherhead. Rachel also has a Diploma in Holistic massage as well as a certificate in First aid. Rachel is a member of BANT – British Association of Applied Nutrition and Nutritional Therapy.

Whilst she does not specialise in any one area of nutrition, she does have a very keen interest in allergy, intolerance and children’s health. Rachel is also actively involved in continual professional development, which involves regular attendance at scientific and nutritional seminars in order to keep up with the latest research in the nutritional field.
