Counsellors

Karen Mason MBACP, FdA Counselling and Psychotherapy

Karen was born in Cheam and attended Nonsuch Grammar School.  She spent many years working in financial services but feeling unfulfilled decided to retrain and pursue her dream of becoming a Counselling Psychotherapist. Karen is a founder partner of Serafina Counselling Partnership. She attained her degree in Humanistic Counselling from Greenwich University, London.  She is a member of the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists and abides by their ethical framework for good practice which includes their code of conduct.

Karen utilises various models of Humanistic Counselling to offer her clients short and long term therapy, and has experience within an NHS setting, private practice, and a drug and alcohol rehabilitation clinic, providing therapy for an extensive range of client issues.

Counselling can be used solely for personal growth as well as for the resolution of many issues, and Karen is happy to have a preliminary discussion with her potential clients to discuss if her style of counselling is appropriate to your needs.

Karen has received much feedback over the years from a huge diversity of satisfied clients paying tribute to her professionalism and her approachability, together with her admirable personal qualities, which have facilitated them in making positive changes to their lives.

Karen also offers therapy sessions at various other south London locations and Harley Street.

Karen’s personal interests include dancing, swimming, walking her dog, cooking and reading.
